@Mynxee: Yeah, always one more thing. Or even just the thought - what if I had level V in... We would all be sorely disappointed if we got to the point where there was no further way to improve.

@Simplora: I did some rough calculations for both a fit Hulk and a mission Raven. Both work out to over 95-98 days for a brand new character. With EVEMon's suggested learning skills you can shave approximately 33% off of that time. If you add +3 implants you can get that down another 15%. The implants alone are worth about 20-25% w/o the learning skills. The longer you are training, the more time improvement there is. The cumulative effect is phenomenal. After 1 year of training I have about 20m skill points thanks in large part to learning skills and implants.

I'll try to write up the results of implants, learning and time reduction.

The problem I had was that I kept jumping around as I saw things that I wanted to fit for my ship. I am wondering if anyone knows how much implants speed up the process and the difference of the various levels of implants - basic, beta, improved, etc.?

I know they get blown out if you are podded, but am just curious as to if it is worth training up the cybernetics skills to get the top of the line implants or if just basic would do. How much of a difference is there anyway?

Thanks!

HA! There will always be more skills...it's how they suck us in knowing we can never leave...the thirst for knowledge is too great...
